A Week in the Life: Friday

I am thinking that I will try and stay up tonight for Tom. I may be able to make it to 2:30am.

I am thankful for Netflix instant watch. I am watching Hannah Montana from beginning to end (not all tonight).

I am eating Cold Stone. I love Cake Batter with raspberries!

I am learning that I haven't been very patient lately. Moments of tears for no real good reason.

I am writing the info to go with my Sketch Support Card. Off it goes to Allison Davis via email.

I am creating pages from the June kit. They are helping me to stay awake.

I am going to Ben Franlin Crafts today! All there patterned paper is 25% off and I also have a coupon for 10% off my entire purchase.

I am reading the recipe for Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins. Making the batter now for tomorrow morning.

I am hoping that I remember to do all that I need to get done tomorrow.

I'm hearing Colbie Caillat's new cd. Love the song "Brighter Than the Sun".

I am buying allergy medication. Hope it helps. Tom wants me to try the equate brand. He loves getting the cheaper version of things.

I am watching Hannah Montana Season 1 episodes 1-12. (Remember I'm trying to stay awake here!)

On my facebook page you will find Frontierville requests. Yep I played today.

One of my favorite things about today was being able to relax, read, scrapbook, and spend time with Tom.

Tom fixing his flat tire. It has been a little frustrating for him. He patched the bike tube but it was still going flat. Finally just replaced it.

Our second trip to Walmart this week. It is the closest store so we run here often when we need something.

Getting gas in Springfield.

A quick trip to Michaels to get some white cardstock. I think 250 sheets will last me quite awhile. At least I hope so!

My favorite craft store in the area! Ben Franlin Crafts is the place to go. They don't know my name but they recognize me. I drag Tom with me so I can use two coupons. They asked him one time if he scrapbooks too! :)

Bought this shirt at Ross. We went to the mall to see if they had black licorice ice cream out. They didn't so we thought we would stop at Ross.

I think I need to visit Cold Stone every week. Actually maybe every day!

Borders is near Cold Stone so we thought we would check out their sales. We are really going to miss them. These are the books we left with. I could have bought a lot more but refrained myself from doing so.

I craft on the floor. More room to spread everything out around me. The only thing is that my back can only take it too long before it starts hurting.

What Tom is working on. Does it make sense to you? Looks like Greek to me! Oh wait I think I do see some Greek letters.

A Week in the Life: Thursday

I am thinking that it is time for bed. I can hardly keep my eyes open.

I am thankful to be able to spend each Thursday @ the White's. Love Bryce and Jos.

I am eating Chinese food for dinner. Tastes kind of bland today.

I am learning how hard it is to get a good pic of Jos. She moves so much!

I am writing down a conversation I heard between Hannah & Bryce.

I am creating Oobleck for the kids to play with.

I am going to miss seeing the kids next week.

I am reading The Foundling by Lloyd Alexander.

I am hoping to finish my Sketch Support card tomorrow morning.

I am hearing Jos talk to herself in  her crib. Guess she isn't quite ready for her nap yet.

I am buying the fact that Jos is super sweet & smart. Love her! (Can't say that enough!)

I am texting Chelsea, Lelsie, Brittany & Kari.

I am watching Nick Jr. I love Miss Spider, Olivia & Backyardigans!

On my facebook page you won't find anything for today. I didn't get on at all. (See I'm not addicted!)

One of my favorite things is getting pats on my back from Josalyn.

The one morning where I actually get up before Tom during the school year. Lately I've been getting up before him.

Josalyn just waking up. It takes her a few minutes and a couple of hugs before she is ready to face the day.

Bryce is typically awake before I get to work, but now that it is summer it isn't always the case.

I don't get very many photos of Connor. I'm guessing he spent the whole night on the couch.

Breakfast for Sister (one of Josalyn's nicknames).

Breakfast for Bryce. He loves peanut butter & jelly. It is one of the few things he will actually eat.

Hannah spent a couple of hours with us this morning. I think Jos loved having another girl around.

Playing in Bryce's room. He isn't as big of a fan of Thomas the Train as he once was.

Goofing in front of the camera. Jos loves staring at the camera and seeing the pictures I take but hasn't grasped the idea of smiling for the camera. :)

Thomas trying to get the kids to play with the Oobleck. They were actually scared of it.

Tom is good at teaching kids bad habits. I was eating Life cereal on the couch when Sister came up and watched me eat. Tom grabbed some Life and dipped it in my rice milk and then let her eat it. It only took a couple of moments for her to grab the Life cereal herself and start dipping it in my milk. At that point I moved my bowl to the kitchen and let Tom and Jos go at it.

Baby tears. Jos tripped and fell. I went to pick her up but stopped and grabbed my camera first. Just so you know I don't typically do that unless it is a tantrum. Jos was fine. :)

Monkey Preschool Lunchbox. I have quite a few games on my iPod Touch for the kiddos. Josalyn's favorite game is Monkey Preschool Lunchbox. I just have to say monkey and she goes running for the iPod.

Josalyn loves feeding me even when I don't want her to. I guess I can't blame her since I'm constantly trying to get her to eat. She is becoming a picky eater like her brothers.

A Week in the Life: Wednesday

I am thinking that I need to buy some more Allegra. I have been feeling groggy ever since I stopped taking it.

I am thankful that I got a chance to chat with Whitney today. :) I feel very blessed to have her as a friend.

I am eating Taco Bell for dinner. It has been quite awhile since I've had a yummy Supreme Gordita.

I am learning that change is hard but doable. I am going to miss the Jones family when they move.

I am writing a note to Lisa Walker. I am going to lend her my wedding dress for a stake young women's activity.

I am creating a card for Sketch Support that is due Friday.

I am going to look up the recipe for Oobleck. Gonna make it with the kids tomorrow.

I am reading all the fun comments that people are leaving on my blog. The fact that I have a giveaway going on sure does help.

I am hoping that I get enough sleep tonight. I'm going to need to have lots of energy tomorrow.

I am hearing Mindy Gledhill's beautiful voice singing from my iPod. Love her cd Anchor.

I am buying a beanie baby turkey. I think he will make a cute decoration for November.

I am texting Mom, Chelsea, Brittany, Leslie & Christina. I love texting!

I am watching Leslie use her new vacuum. I am jealous!

On my facebook page you will find a link to my blog post Week in the Life: Monday.

One of my favorite places to be is in a pool. Love the feel of the water and feeling like I hardly weigh a thing.

Some mornings it is hard to get up and out of bed.

Tom trying to get some research done on the kitchen table. I'm surprised his notebook even fit on the table. :)

Netflix movie in the mail! Not sure how many more of these red envelopes we will be receiving with the increase in price.

Tom & I made a quick trip to Goodwill. Love finding books there. Most of the kids books are only a dollar. Can't beat that!

We always check the stuffed animal section at Goodwill for Dr. Seuss stuffed animals. Didn't find any today but we did find these lips. We thought we would leave them there for someone else to purchase.

Buying a new planner is a big deal to me. I use it to write down everything I do each day. Helps me to keep up on Project 365 / Project Life. I get the student planner since our year is still dictated by the school year. It most likely will always be that way.

This is my friend Hannah Jones. She is doing a twirl jump into the pool. Love her tutu swimsuit! Tom & I enjoyed swimming with her and her friends.

This is Hannah's brother Colby. He doesn't like to wear swim diapers so he didn't swim with us, but he is still cute!

A sneak peek of my card for Sketch Support. I got this much done on it. Hopefully it comes together soon. It is due on Friday.

Tom getting some reading in before going to bed. He is reading Hoot. This is the first time he has read a book before me that I'm planning on reading.

A Week in the Life: Tuesday

I am thinking that I should have gone to bed long before now (11:15pm)

I am thankful that Tom & I went out on a planned date! We spend a lot of time together, but don't go on planned dates very often.

I am eating leftovers from Chili's. I am not that hungry so I should be saving it for tomorrow.

I am learning that it is hard to really know what someone is thinking or feeling via text messages.

I am writing two checks to Dad. One is for his birthday & the other is for June/July cell phone bill.

I am creating memories that hopefully I won't ever forget.

I am going to need to get a lot done tomorrow. Hopefully I will have a lot of energy.

I am reading The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg. Liking it so far.

I am hoping that I get a lot of blog comments for the giveaway post. It is fun to read what others have to say.

I am hearing the music from the CDs my music guru, Brittany, sent me. Learning to love a lot of new music artists.

I am  buying goodies @ Bath & Body Works with a gift card. It feels like my birthday!

I am texting Chelsea, Whitney & Leslie today.

I am watching the most recent Harry Potter. I can't believe it is over! I feel a little depressed thinking about that.

On my facebook page there are a couple of Frontierville requests. Yep I do like to play though I'm not addicted like someone else I know. ;)

One of my favorite things is how Tom never gets bored being with me. I don't understand it but I'm glad that he is always happy to be with me.

Tom shaving. Exciting huh? ;)

Finally saw Harry Potter. We both loved it. Hard to believe that it is the last movie.

Lunch @ Chili's. We got the Dinner for 2 for $20. We got the Texas Cheese Fries for our appetizer. Yummy!

Tom was a very good sport and let me take my time trying to decide what to spend my gift card on. I ended up with 7 soaps and 5 little bottles of handsanitizer. So much fun!

Back home from our date. I was very tired and did my best not to take a nap. I didn't do a whole lot the rest of the day.

Tom's new office. He had to run to campus to gather up some things he needed for his research. I have yet to visit it myself. Hopefully soon.

Reading. The best activity for when I'm too tired to do anything else. :)

A Week in the Life: Monday

I am thinking that I didn't get much done today, but it was still a great day!

I am thankful that I got to talk to Christina and Mom on the phone today. Sawyer still doesn't have any teeth!

I am eating melted chocolate while I mix up some homemade twix bars. Yummy!

I am learning to make most of the days that Tom gets to spend at home with me.

I am writing a blog post about my winning the card Blog Challenge over at My Mind's Eye. So very exciting! Still trying to decide which paper collection I should ask for.

I am creating a 4th of July layout that came in the Super Sketch Kit Club for June. I think I need to edit some pictures from this last 4th of July.

I am going to try to get my assignment for Sketch Support done tomorrow. Friday will be here before I know it.

I am reading Mindy Gledhill's note about how to take charge of your pregnancy. She is due in three weeks.

I am hoping that tomorrow turns out to be a good day to go on a date with Tom. It has been too long since we've gone on a planned date.

I am hearing the constant clicking of Tom playing Frontierville on the laptop once again.

I am buying something fun for myself tomorrow. I think a trip to Bath & Body Works is in tomorrow's forecast.

I am texting Chelsea & Leslie. A day is not complete without a text from Leslie. :)

I am watching The Andy Griffith Show. Enjoying my favorite episode Three Wishes for Opie.

On my facebook page you will find a note from Rachel Brown! "Liss, I sure do miss you! Any chance you will be in Utah soon?" Oh how I miss Rachel too!

One of my favorite things about today is that I won the My Mind's Eye Card Challenge. Woot! Woot! Can't complain about getting some free scrapbooking product from my favorite manufacturer.

Good morning!

Tom actually doing some research. He was so busy with teaching a four week class that this is the first time he has been able to actually work on researching...math.

Morning eye drops are a necessity for me! Just a couple of months ago I got a prescription. Working so much better than the over-the-counter drops.

This movie is fantastic! Just loved it and so did Tom. It is Indian so you have to be willing to read the subtitles. It is worth it!

I got to talk to my sister, Christina, today. Love it when she gives me a ring. Always fun to hear Sawyer laughing in the background too!

We are off to mail our netflix DVD and to check the mail.

Getting a key in our mailbox to a bigger box is always exciting! I got a new scrapbook kit in the mail!

While Tom was off doing his thing I decided to pay my good friend Leslie a visit. Took the picture right after she opened the door. Love her red door! Though now that I think about it mine is maroon so I should be happy with it. :)

Leslie and I going out for a walk. I'm the one wearing tennis shoes. :)

Love walking along the fountain path. I feel so blessed to live where I do!

Leslie just recently moved back closer to me so I helped her load up some of her things from storage into her car. I am so thankful that she is within walking distance again.

Banana Blueberry Spinach Smoothie: 1 cup Rice Milk, 1 container of blueberry yogurt, 1 frozen banana, a handful of spinach & some blueberries

Noc Noc!
